The AFC champions Cincinnati Bengals will adopt a white version of their widely recognizable tiger stripe helmet for the 2022 season. The team teased the news through a video uploaded to their social media on Thursday morning.
“For more than 50 years, Bengal tigers have roamed the Cincinnati jungle, renowned the world over for its unique stripes and ferocious game,” read the narrator of the teaser video, “but recently teams of photographers have captured rare footage of a new and exotic Bengal species spotted right here in the jungle.

Cincinnati first wore a black-and-white version of their uniforms during the 2016 season. Introduced as part of the NFL’s ColorRush promotion, the Bengals first wore the mostly orange-free set during of a Week 4 win at home against the, oddly enough, only orange Miami Dolphins.
When you’re wearing a helmet like this, it’s one of those situations where you either have to stand up or shut up.
